Isuzu Hicom Malaysia Sdn Bhd (IHM) is a Malaysia commercial vehicle manufacturer that operates under a joint venture between DRB HICOM Berhad and ISUZU Motors Ltd., based in Peramu Jaya Industrial Area in Pekan, Pahang, Malaysia. The company was first established in January 1994 as Hicom Commercial Vehicle Sdn Bhd, which was later changed to Malaysia Truck & Bus Sdn Bhd in April 1996. In 2006, Isuzu Motors Asia Limited took over the majority of shares in the company by 51%, whilst Hicom Holdings Bhd retained 49% of the shares. The company hereby changed its name to Isuzu Hicom Malaysia Sdn Bhd to reflect the change in equity.
